63 and dry? Hey, I'll take that. It's now partly cloudy and dry. But too late for me to get to Hershey Park. Going to try again tomorrow.

63 and dry. Partly cloudy (that means mostly sunny) A nice seasonably cool day for the Feat-stival! ;D
We've been setting up all day long and will continue through the night. Gonna have everything ready go for tomorrow.
It's Party time!

Thanx to everybody who came out to the Harrisburg Feat-stival! We hope all of those that attended had a great time. We know that we and all of our local musician friends who contributed to the day's entertainment sure did!
(PS - "Backrub Bob" .... LOL!)

Thanks, Doc, for having us! We had a great time at the Feat-stival and the concert and hanging with some new friends. The weather was perfect! The blues sounded great! The beer and food were fine! And it was so nice to finally meet some Feat fans in person....and put some faces with the names...and to meet some fans who are not digesters as well. The concert was too short, but the Feat ended with a big bang playing "Let It Roll" while some of us danced in the aisles, just couldn't sit still to that one! Shaun is still getting over her cold but did a couple of songs. We stayed to greet the band afterwards while they signed CD's, ticket stubs and posters, then headed over to the Hilton for a drink with a few new-found friends. A great night!!
By the way, made it to Hersheypark on Friday and Hershey spa on Mother's Day, making the entire weekend a really nice anniversary weekend.

Eileen and I would like to thank Keith & Sue Bocchicchio and Vaughn & Cindy Myers for all their energy and effort towards the Little Feat Feat-stival. They contributed lots of food and the keg, and assisted with the setup and organization of the party. We couldn't have asked for any better Co-POC'ers. Thanx to Matt Hopkins for helping break down "the stage" and getting all that gear back in the house. We couldn't have asked for a better "roadie". Thanx to "Backrub" Bob for helping empty the keg. ;D

Hi everyone. I'm Dave (MDDave), and as you can tell, this is my first post here. I've been a feat fan since the 1970s, and am just getting around to signing up here. I wanted to see what everyone else thought of the show in Harrisburg, so I'll start with a mini-review. I drove up from Maryland with a friend, and we had dinner at the Gingerbread. We met someone on the parking lot elevator who said the POCs were getting together there. Sorry that time did not allow proper introductions, but we just had enough time to eat and get to the show. I haven't seen the Feat in a few years (maybe 2001), and my impression was that Shaun has grown into the role. I understand from another post that she'd had a cold, and maybe was not taking lead on as many songs. Three part harmonies on the older feat songs were very sharp. The band was tight as usual. Whitaker Center was a good place to see the band, with a sold-out capacity of maybe 750-1,000 max. Fred Tackett was especially impressive (and fast ) when he took the lead. Sam seemed more laid back than usual, or was that my imagination. Bill Payne was quite animated, and did a Mexican flavored song, Corazones Y Sombras, which he introduced in Spanish. Richie Hayward, fresh off touring with Bob Dylan, was as sharp as usual, laying down that famous syncopated back beat. Meghan Cary opened. A very funny singer/songwriter in the Christine Lavin mode. She was a bit nervous...hometown girl (Hershey, PA) opening for a semi-big-time band after doing coffee houses and touring in her Suburu. Anyway, hello everyone, and I promise to stop back here once in a while and see what's going on. Dave MDDave

great party Doc & Eileen! Thanks for hosting all of us at your beautiful home - and boy did the weather cooperate! thanks to Keith & Vaughn (and Sue & Cindy) for the great food, the cold beer, and the friendship! Great to meet Laurie & Harvey - still honeymooners after all the years! Nice music courtesy of Doc & the PA Blues society friends. wish everyone could have joined us there - more fun than the G-Man, but that was good too!
more about the show elsewhere, just wanted to say special thanks to the above folks here. back to winchester tonight- because i still ain't had enough fun yet.

We received a message from the New Cumberland Giant. They had many disgruntled customers due to the shortage of ice this past Saturday. ;D Again Thank you Vaughn, Cindy, Keith & Sue!! The turnout of digesters was disappointing but we all had a great time.
