It's good to know that I'm not getting old by myself. hee hee.
Hmm...a cake at Feat-stival? Sounds like a good thing. Whoever gets one, let me know. I'll put in some $$ towards one.
3 days till Feat in NOLA. 9 till Hershey Park. 10 till Feat in Harrisburg!

The weather looks like it's going to be awesome in Harrisburg on May 8th. Sunny and low 70's. Can't get any better than that. Let's hope they're right!
And it'll be perfect for opening day at Hersheypark on Friday as well. Anyone want to join Sang and me on the new roller coaster?

Katie & BfBob will be arriving @ FeatParty shortly after 12 noon to check out the music and make sure the beer is cold. It's gonna be "almost" too much fun. We're staying at the Holiday Inn West that night, since there's no way we're gonna drive home after partying with y'all! I'll be bringing some cd's to share, and some desserts & snacks & bottled water for the late night post-show crowd.

Bob and Katie, where are you planning on hanging out after the show? At your hotel? We can discuss plans when we see you at the Feat-stival. By the way, I think I danced with you in Jamaica, right up in front of the stage. If you are who I think you are, you gave me a glow necklace. Scarlett

Eileen and I were THINKING (operative word ) about inviting a few people to the house after the show for a little post show jammin' 'n jawin'. The "Feat-stival" promises to be one heckuva barn stormin' bash. Most of our local musician friends have said they will be there. That's a LOT of afternoon music. ;D (The beer oughta be cold, bfb!) PS - It looks like the show will be SRO!!) Lookie at this forecast!!!! Harrisburg, Saturday, May 08 MOSTLY SUNNY 72°/53°

Scarlett, we be stayin' at the holiday sin west and do plan to hang with y'all after da show. might be jammin' with doc & the boyz lakefront, or maybe drinkin' & jawin' @ hilton with y'all. i did a lot of "up front" dancing in jamaica, but was giving out mardi gras beads, not glow necklaces (unless i gave you mine??). we will find a way to dance in the "sunoco theatre at whitaker center", even if it is a sit-down kinda place. i remember last year dancing in the back with miss clarabelle. post-show party plans are usually made "sperm of the moment" outside the theatre, but smart party planners are ready and loaded for any eventuality (see cooler). bfb

Bob, don't forget that you lent your voice to the band during "Feats Don't Fail Me Now!" Are we going to hear an encore this year?

Sang, thanks for asking. Last year's show was a real highlight of my life actually singing along for more than one chorus of "roll right through the night" and i could hear myself (yikes!). Yes indeed, Shaun Murphy and I have worked out a little something special for this year's version of "FDFMN", where i'll not only sing, but i get up on stage and do a little dance.....
(i also have some swampland for sale here in virginia) bfb

It's almost time for the Feat-stival!!! We should have ample food, drink and space to stretch your limbs before heading to the show. It looks like it will be a great pre show bash and we look forward to seeing all our Feat fan brethren and sistren. Entertainment will be provided by Gary Harrington & the Regulators and Doc & the Blues Clinic (my band ). We also expect a formidable contingent of the local performers to take part in the Feat-stivities, including members of the Krypton City Blues Revue, the Late Nite Boys, and the Slaughterhouse Blues Band. This should be one heckuva party. The Whitaker Center is basically sold out!!! There will be a "smaller" gathering prior to the show (pre show meet 'n greet) at the Gingerbread Man Downtown on Market Street, just about a block from the Center. We're gonna roll right through the night .....
