Time for some POC stuff. Little Feat will be headlining at our Riverbend Festival on June 18. This date was changed from the previously listed date of June 19. This festival is rated a top 10 Southeast Festival every year. That means a lot of out of town visitors. Hotel space is at a minimum for that week. If you have the slightest notion of coming, I suggest that you make reservations now. Here is a good site for Chattanooga hotel/motel listings: chattanooga.funtastikamerica.com/Chattanooga/ChattanoogaHotel.htmlDowntown will be more expensive, but more convenient (parking can be a pain). A good place to start is Days Inn Rivergate on Carter St. Toll Free Reservations 1.866.809.9330 A little about Riverbend ( www.riverbendfestival.com). A nine day festival running from June 11th through June 19th. Estimated attendance for the nine days last year was 650,000. It was a down year because of heavy rain on two nights. The Feat will be playing on the Coca-Cola stage (main stage). Admission is with a pin (for the full nine days) which will be available from the Riverbend website soon. Pins may also be purchased at the gates. One day admissions will also be available at the gates.

AdmissionsRiverbend Festival admission pins are now available for online ordering at www.riverbendfestival.com/ishop/index.ihtml. Pins are $24 in advance, $33 after 6/10. One day wrist bands will be available at the gates for $20 each. Waterfront SeatingThis is an additional $15 each. Waterfront seating tickets may be purchased by calling Friends of the Festival at 423-756-2211. Waterfront seating is a special seating section up front with easier access to "Refreshments" and toilet facilities. If you can swing the extra $$ it's worth it. If not, get there early to stake out a spot. The festival uses the additional proceeds from this section to help pay for the bands. I have a couple of friends on the entertainment comittee so I have an idea of what their budget is and what the bands cost. For a nine day festival, it's expensive.

If you are coming to Riverbend for the Feat show, please let me know. We may be planning an afternoon get together.
