 I love finding out about different groups from other artist websites and I found out about Railroad Earth from this one about a year ago.....bought two of their CDs, loved 'em both and have been waiting for the opportunity to see them live. Going to visit my parents this weekend in Columbus, Ohio and low and behold they're playing at a venue called the Newport Music Hall on Friday the 23rd. Surprisingly, they're the opening act for Ekoostik Hookah  .....never heard of them and not real sure I'm spelling their name right. Can anyone out there tell me about them and also about Newport Music Hall??

Ohio regional jam band with a good following and their own little annual festi in early Sept. This year was their 24th and the Feat were there again. I've only listened to one of their shows and that was a long time ago... measured in Jam years  www.ekoostik.com/ |
