Hello all, I hope I don't offend anyone when I say that this loss is infinately more impactful for me than the passing of ronald reagan. One of a very few in his class this man was indeed an all american treasure. I still remember the first time I heard Georgia on my mind. And that smile. That smile. Lowell is I believe breakin' into Georgia right now. T

Yes, I agree with that. Quite a loss, indeed. I would love to hear that Duet of Ray and Lowell trading verses on "Georgia"

I saw Ray Charles 4 times. The man was guaranteed to give you chills!!! There's getting to be quite the musical entertainment society up there.

Hey all, it wasn't Ray & Lowell ... but I did go see my friend Seth Eames last night ... when I told him about Ray (vt news travels slow) ... he slid right into 1 of the sweetest versions of Georgia On My Mind I've ever heard. Very special moment. Thanks Ray. Thanks Seth. Now I've just got get through all those republicans walkin' on my parents headstone while eulogizing RR. Appologies around ... but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I will have copies of Seths new CD for $5.00 (cost) in a week or 2. Who wants the 1st 1 free so you can tell these good folks that they need 1 too? Support Live Music, Todd

Hoy
Brother Ray will be missed by all but his music will always be with us, so he'll never really be gone. If there's a heavan there is one h(I allmost said hell of a') great jam session going on right now. I wonder if they can e-mail us a copy of the cd now. I guess I'm trying to laugh to keep from crying.
Keep on Rollin' jashley
P.S. Tipi I would like to have that CD if he can break into an imediate rendention of Georgia. Thanks. j
