BTW I think I figured out how to outfox the internet police that shut down my downloading...I'm active weekends...when the Po-lice don't work. Fingers crossed!

You know what they say, "Don't make a mess where you eat/sleep/work" You got chillin to support. Besides, if they're worth their salt, they are running logs on all activity and a glance at the traffic on weekends will shurely put you in the dirt if they want to make an example of you. You try just being open about the fact that you want to DL some tunes, no porn? They get pissed when end users start toying with the system... Just my 2c

My thinking is if their beef is that I'm jamming their bandwidth they won't gripe if it is a weekend when school isn't in session. No demand for bandwidth then.
And if they are concerned about legality (and the downloading is strictly Little Feat) they can read the band's policy statement...sharing is caring!
I'm not concerned about any legal/employment issues. They complained about loss of bandwidth. I quit inconveniencing them.
Besides, it's easier to get forgiveness than permission.

Ok, Tim, you are officialy on your own It may serve you well to know if there is an official policy re: personal use of the web/computers/etc. I know my company has one and as much as it's for CYA purposes, it would give them leverage if they wanted to bust your chops... instead of giving forgivness ;D Just another 2c ... now back on topic... digging out the Sonny L now

Like they say, if you never cross the line, you don't know where the line really is.
