Pay It Forward #8. Recently the digest mentioned that the Flying Other Brothers opened during April for Little Feat. As I haven’t heard their music, I found their web site, which led me to their Tapers’ Section page. They sent me PIF #8 recorded August 30, 2003 at the Best In the West Rib Cook-Off in Sparks, Nevada. Here is the deal, if you agree to their policy of sending 3 copies to friends, who you hope will send 3 copies to friends, etc., I will send to the first three who contact me offline with their addy a copy of the show (3 CDs). Please let everybody know here what number you are and would the third person close the door. The FOB’s PIF policy is at: www.flyingotherbros.com/tapers

it appears that 50 posts is the magical number to reach for "junior membership" as opposed to "new member". a decoder ring sounds like the right prize! what do you get for 100 posts? and why doesn't paco already have that many???
okay World Moderator, answers please.
bfb "new member" but posting like crazy to get my numbers up.

No decoder rings. They're sending a Little Feat lunch box, a Hot Tomato bobble head doll and a first generation Zerox copy of a printout of the first HHD signed by the band. 6 to 8 weeks for delivery..... (I have no life )

Sounds like you hit the jackpot. Let me know if you put that bobble-head on E-Bay!

Received my FOB pay it forward from DPK and it is a tasty set. I've got my three pay it forward copies on the way to others. This reminds me of the antics of the Merry Pranksters back in the 60s. Just communal enough to give you a warm glow.
Thanks DK and I plan on doing this again as a spontaneous thing.
