“Discover Music” says the Pandora.com. The idea started way back in January 6, 2000 when a group of musicians and music-loving technologists came together with the idea of creating the most comprehensive analysis of music ever. They analysed & captured the unique musical identity of a song - everything from melody, harmony and rhythm, to instrumentation, orchestration, arrangement, lyrics etc.
And now after 5 years, they’ve analysed over 10,000 different artists - ranging from various genre. And they work hard to add up the latest activity from every corner of the music world.
Personally I feel pandora.com has a new approach to online music streaming and has a large database of quality music. The usability of the site is excellent, it is neat, uncluttered and fast, and most importantly you don’t need any plugins to install or some third party software to play the content, everything is just online and is compatible with most of the browsers. Just search by your attributes, create a station and start streaming, yes that’s it.
All in all this site is a must try for every music enthusiastic.
