Hoys all, Anyone else out there addicted to these damned podcasts? There are some extremely twisted minds out there in the ether Rick in fact, I've been wondering whether a podcast might replace the Little Feat Radio Hour ... it would serve the same purpose, pehaps expose even more people to the band, help circulate live music, keep the name popping on the front burner ...

Thanks Rick. Interesting...and technical. Not affected by the FCC?
Hank has a good point. Most people, when finally hearing Feat, become fans. And maybe a way to reach some of those '70s Feat fans (you've met em) that say, "Little Feat...are those guys still around!"

Hello Mike, Nope, not covered by the FCC. I haven't gone through the nuts and bolts of putting a podcast together, but from what I've seen it seems simple enough. Beats the livin' bejesus out of listening to Clear Channel Rick

Beats the livin' bejesus out of listening to Clear Channel Rick I don't! Here in DFW we have nada for stations unless you're into Ashlee Simpson et al. I occasionally will listen to our 1 smooth jazz or our 1 old classic country station. Other than that, thank God for the CD six shooters in my car & casa. If you figure out how to do it, I'll figure out how to listen to it! Mike

I know this is straying from the topic of podcasting a little, but Mike - whatever happened to KTXQ? That was an album rock station in Dallas back in 1980. Another was, I want to say, KZEW (or maybe that was Omaha?) Can't quite remember. Please tell me that KTXQ hasn't gone pop and hip-hop and the like. -chadgumbo

Yeah-KTXQ was the bomb! Entire albums of Cream, Hendrix, Sailing Shoes, ect ect...but long gone. KZEW (The ZOO) just gave it up about 5 yrs. ago. No doubt because of Clear Channel rumblings. Like I said, this would be a great place to put some entertainment!!! Did you check out the next topic down? Billy Payne playing DJ in Montana with his personel CD collection Tuesday (5/17) @ 7pm.
