Trish was driving around the other day, and a local car dealership (Hanover Nissan (PA)) used "Let It Roll" as the music, but changed the words.
Does anyone know if this is allowed? Does the Feats know about this, and it done with or without compensation?
Just want to be sure the Mag7 get their rewards.

Does the Feats know about this, and it done with or without compensation? They know now. Rick monitors all the posts pretty diligently, and if the band, the managers, etc. need to know I'm sure he'll pass it along. Cool hearing the song though, yes? But leave the lyrics alone. - chadgumbo

In the early '80s two things happened due to Little Feats song "Dixie Chicken" A bar in College Station, TX, across the street from Texas A&M opened up with the name of "The Dixie Chicken". A couple of years later a 3 girl band started up here in Dallas by the name of "The Dixie Chickens". Now...the bar threatened to sue the band because of the name, so the band was forced to shorten their name to "The Dixie Chicks". Meanwhile I'm thinking "I wonder what LF thinks about this?" In 2000 I asked Paul about it and they never knew. Paul replied "we've been to the bar and it's a fun one. we're flatterd by the nod from the "Chicks", but I don't understand the bars claim on the name. it's a funny world!" As far as I know that was the end of it. Ya gotta love a band that just doesn't sweat the small shite!
