If I'm not mistaken, it's a DVD-Audio version of the CD. They usually include a full surround sound (in Digital surround) as well as standard stereo. On the Deep Purple Machine Head DVD-Audio I have, they have also included some rare video footage from the time frame of the album and also have complete lyrics and photo shots of the band. I don't know enough about what the Feats are planning and since I only have the Deep Purple one I don't know if that's the "Standard" or included more than "usual". Hope that helps.

There ARE some graphics on the KIATB DVD, I was told last night that the lyrics are definitely on there and possibly other stuff but I don't know for sure exactly what.

I was under the impression that there was a video tour of the "barn" as well.

Hey all: I just found this thread.....I picked up the KIATB DVD at the Toronto show this past week, and the new material is great! The descriptions above are accurate: There is a little video, with Freddie showing us around "Little Feat World Headquarters", and when the songs play, the lyrics scroll by (not too sure what to make of that??). There are some photos as well. However, if you're expecting a video of the band performing this new material, you'd better get the "Highwire Act" DVD, which contains two of the new songs. Kickin' It At The Barn doesn't have any footage of the tracking, nor any live performances. The songs are GREAT though, and the production is a little 'slicker' than a typical live recording. All in all, it deserves to have "Little Feat" on the cover! dc

any audiophiles care to comment on katb dvd-a? how does it compare to the cd? is there a stereo hi- rez version or just surround? 6 or 5 channels of surround. i will probably get it as i own everything the feat has put out but i'm so disillusioned with the music industry making dvd-a and sacd so difficult with no digital output and no speaker management. they're so paranoid about money and don't give a twit about sound!
