I didn't watch any golf on Sunday. Do you recall which tune was being provided as bumper music? If you've ever seen the movie Road House, a Patrick Swayze movie from 1989, there's a scene where the character played by Sam Elliott is sitting in a bar and, if one is paying attention, you can hear a Little Feat song being played on the juke box in the background. I want to say it was [glow=red,2,300]Rad Gumbo[/glow], but I might be remembering incorrectly, as that song was from the Representing the Mambo album, and I believe it was a song from Let It Roll that was in that movie. Mambo probably had not yet been released in 1989. Another tidbit... novelist John Sandford is a Feat fan. He has a series of novels in which all the titles end in the word Prey. The central character is a Minneapolis detective named Lucas Davenport. Anyway along about the second or third book in the series, either Shadow Prey or maybe Eyes of Prey, Sandford makes reference to Lucas Davenport cruising in his Porche, listening to Cities 97, an actual Minneapolis radio station, and cranking up the radio when a Little Feat song begins to air. If interested in these novels, the first is called Rules of Prey, and if you like good detective novels I can promise you that these will not disappoint. - chadgumbo
