The Little Feat community owes a huge debt of gratitude to the whole Gulf Coast area. The music that draws us together now was born and bred through this whole area of the country.
It’s time for paybacks folks. Take this forum and use it to develop ideas to help.

Rick, For some time I've been meaning to sort through my clothes and donate those that I can no longer use. We're not talking about worn out clothes here - we're talking about me not being motivated enough to stay in shape enough to keep them fitting Anyway, I'd be very happy to send them south if I knew which agency to send them to. I think I'll check with the Salvation Army here locally and perhaps they'll either take them or let me know where to send them. As for nycfeat's post regarding the musician's, I admit I've wondered much the same thing myself. Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Boozoo Chavis, John Delafose, Clifton Chenier, the list could go on and on. These people probably either live in New Orleans, or fearfully, south of New Orleans in bayou country. I can only guess at how many people are stranded in the small towns south of New Orleans. Pray for them all.

As one who made it thru last year's Florida hurricanes, I feel so fortunate. I cannot imagine what those folks are going through. I figure any funds that can be sent for relief efforts are very well spent!
The pics on TV tear your heart out. Those that had so little lost so much. Hope we can all dig deep into our old fruit jars and contribute to the cause.

Hoy Rick,
Where is the link or info to send contribution to Rocky & his family. I am not finding anything on Richie's page.
Better yet, any updates on how Rocky is?
Thanks
Virginia
