:oHeads up Virginia Little Feat fans!! Now I know that "It is not official until it is posted to the Tour Schedule on this website", but it is posted to www.pollstar.com (that's how I found out about it), it is posted on the venue website, www.charlottesvillepavilion.com and I just found out that the tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 12th!! ;D Finding out about the Charlottesville Pavilion was quite a challenge....it is brand-spanking-new!! In fact it has not yet officially opened!! It looks like it will fit the mold of the semi-outdoor venues that have become so popular. There will be undercover reserved seating, but I don't know how many of them there will be....and general admission lawn seating where you can bring your own blanket and picnic. Little Feat is the headline act for this event and may, in fact, be the sole performers (wouldn't a 2-set performance be totally cool!!) To find out more go to the website noted above or call 434-817-0220.

:POK.....the tickets that I bought right at 10AM on July 12th when they were first offered for sale on the venue website, www.charlottesvillepavilion.com are, according to the "OFFICIAL" tour listing on the official Little Feat website,......not worth the paper they're printed on!! My tickets are for Saturday, August 13th....but the "OFFICIAL" tour listing says LF is playing at that venue on Friday, August 12th!! >:(This error is very disappointing because I have noted SEVERAL "OFFICIAL" tour list postings in the past that have been dead-wrong and since this IS the official Little Feat website these posting errors can significantly damage ticket sales!! I think I'll still go to Charlottesville on August 13th and hope that I'll see my favorite band!!

I think I'll still go to Charlottesville on August 13th and hope that I'll see my favorite band!! ok, first of all the tour page says the gig is on Friday August 13th, and since August 13th 2005 is a Saturday right away you ought to know it's a typo and the gig is either on Friday 8/12 or Saturday 8/13 ... secondly, the tour page didn't say a damn thing about your tickets not being "worth the paper they're printed on" (you just made that up for effect), and lastly you should always check the venue for confirmation of times & dates ... c'mon, I thought farmboys had horse sense, but seems to me you're doing a right fine impersonation of the North end of a South bound horse ...

>:(Featphoto....you ought to make sure of the facts before posting your smart-ass comments. When I reviewed the Tour page and decided to post my comment on the error, there was not a "typo" involved. Friday, August 12th was posted with LF at Charlottesville Pavilion and Saturday August 13th was posted with them playing in New York. I DID call the ticket agency where I bought my tickets and they not only confirmed that LF was playing Charlottesville on Saturday the 13th, they also told me that the New York gig, which they also were supposed to sell tickets for, was a cancelled event. Apparently, when this website made the attempt to remove the now cancelled gig and correct the day that LF was playing in Charlottesville, another error was posted regarding the day and the date. This furthers the point that I was trying to make in the first place....errors and untimely postings to the Tour page on this website is hurting ticket sales and consequently the band. I would never have made my posting if I hadn't noticed that these errors are made frequently!! My first posting on this thread was made when I found out about the Charlottesville event on Pollstar, but it was not on this website and the opening date for the ticket sales was only four days away. My second posting regarded a gross error and NOT a "typo". Official websites for entertainers should be the best way for a fan to find out about their tour events. Little Feat is far and away my favorite band, but I will continue to depend on Pollstar and communications with the venues for reliable information about their events. Your "impersonation" remark, featphoto, was real cute. Farmboys don't lower themselves making comments like that!!
