Real cranked up, flying into New Orleans on Sunday to catch up with our friend Drew who does sound for the Dudes. Looking forward to a killer show and a few days RnR. Looking to catch up with some Dudes and Feats fans. Want to hit Vaughns and some other places. Does anyone know if Kermit Ruffins is playing anywhere May 1 - 3? Won't be in Thurs to catch him at Vaughns.

Hey- the show was excellent- both the dudes & Feat. Tommy Malone came out for Dixie Chicken.
no tapes around- the only recording would be Howard- no taping at the House of Rules.

Not only did we get to catch the dudes and Feat at the HOB, I got to go with Rocky and krew over to Howlin' Wolf's to see Zigaboo.
One of the highlights of the trip was getting to stand behind Richie and watch him snakenecking to Zig's band. Richie turned to me and said; "Rick, I'm just here to see how he thinks". Just one of those special moments.
One great night where I got to see two of the best drummers in the world lay out their chops.
Getting to watch Rocky let loose on his home turf was a treat too. The man can flat ass boogie ;-)
