Fro those who are planniong on seing Littlef Feat in Teluride on March 17th... Thisis a mid moiuntain event.. meaning that you need to buy a lkift ticket and also you will have to ski or snowboard ot the venue , which is mid mouintain. Here's what Rick put on the web site.. In order to attend the Telluride gig you have to buy a lift ticket. No exceptions. Lift tickets are $71. The lift will get you to the top of the hill, period. You then must either ski or snowboard to the venue. Walking is not an option. The venue is about ½ way down the hill and you have to be able to ski or snowboard to get there. Fro more info check the LF website www.littlefeat.net/LFTOUR.html#TELLURIDE

BUMMER ... i realize this might sound strange for someone who lives in Colorado ... but i don't ski or snowboard! I've tried calling the venue several times and have left messages, but they do not return calls ... so will there be an additional cost for event tickets? i won't be much help as POC if i can't get into the event! is there anyone out there who can take over? i live in Montrose and would be glad to exchange numbers and i've got a bunch of posters to hang?!

boy, I'd love to see how they're getting the band & equipment to the site ... I'd pay money to see Denny slammin' along on the back of a ski mobile <g>

Been there before, they usually use an enclosed snow cat. It looks like a van but has tank tracks on it. Like the ones they use in Yellowstone for sight seeing in the winter. But a picture of Denny on a snowmobile would be great ;D Get there early with your camera!

Wow! Am I the only one who thinks this is insane? I've got an ACL that begs to differ that walking is not an option......

I think the thing about "no walking" is so they can avoid getting lots of holes punched into their nicely groomed courses. And frankly, walking would probably take a very long time. The solution for the POC might be to ride in with the equipment? That would make for a very long day... I notice no one's mentioned that one needs to ski or snowboard to _leave_ the venue. I can just see some party-hearty folks trying to figure out how those weird things attach to their feet anyway. Best of luck figuring out how to get around. from Glenn, the Seattle POC who gets to see the band a week before you do
