Hoys all around, There's a fella in England looking to produce a one hour segment as a tribute to Lowell for an upcoming series for the BBC. It's just in the planning/funding stages but he does have a wish list of material he'd like to get his hands on:
* Archive interviews with Lowell George. * Archive interviews with Elizabeth George, with access to images for the supporting web page. * New or archive interviews with any of the following: Paul Barrére, Sam Clayton, Kenny Gradney, Richard Hayward, Bill Payne, Roy Estrada, Fred Tackett, Craig Fuller, Shaun Murphy, Bonnie Raitt, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Emilio Castillo, Mic Gillette, Ted Templeman, Russ Titelman, Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, Chris Hillman, JD Souther, Val Carter and Alain Toussaint. * Lowell’s final performance at the Lisner Auditorium, George Washington University, Washington, D.C. on June 28, 1979. * Any rarely heard or exclusive musical performances.
I don't have any idea on how they would credit any submissions. I know that there's a ton of stuff out there but it's not organized to the point of being easily assembled. If ya'll have access to any material that you feel helps the cause, post it here. Anytime we have the opportunity for a tip of the hat to Lowell I think we should jump all over it with both Feat. Way cool ... & "both Feat" indeed! In my self-absorbed MoFo mind ... John Starling should be added to that list! Not only did Lowell produce his solo album ... but it happened right before his (LG's) solo tour ... and the end. Either way it is too long in coming ... and hopefully LF will play as large a roll as possible! Peace, T

Hello
Just been notified of this posting. When researching my book about Lowell I got a lot of stuff that might be of interest to these people. Can someone tell me who they are and I'll get in touch - I'm in London, so it will be easy to talk to them
regards
Mark Brend
