Hoys, y'all,
We all know the Little Feat Sampler is a great cd to reintroduce or convert new fans to the magic. The musical extavaganza known as "South by Southwest" (www.sxsw.com) is happening in Austin March 16-20. This is a great opportunity to pass out (yeah, that too) the Little Feat Sampler #1 to music lovers (more than 1300 acts playing all over town). I would greatly appreciate YOUR help in burning some cds and printing the artwork. Please contact me thru the private message here if you would kindly make some copies to help- 5 or 10 ready to go samplers in sleeves or cd cases would be GREAT! You never know who will become the next POC after hearing it!
Thanks in advance for getting the BEST music to the people!

I am having my neighbor burn some and will Fed-Ex them to you in time. Absolutely a round of applause for Gary and every one else, but how about a huge round for the unstoppable, always present and enthused, bottle and shot glasses in hand...MG theTequila Queen! Milles gracias (many, many thanks) to those who burned CDs and enabled this give away of Feat Sampler#1 to more than 240 people at one of the largest music festivals anywhere in the world.
Deep South also came through with a box of their Little Feat/Hot Tomato Samplers.(Great idea, Mac)
People were very excited to receive these, and we could tell the story that no,we weren't record execs, we were fans in a grassroots movement; it sure started some conversations. People were interested to learn the cd in their hand was handmade with love from Little Feat fans all over the US and mailed to Austin......
Saturday night, for example, one youngster said "This is for ME? the REAL Little Feat, you're giving this to ME?"
'Yeah, burn it for your friends and give it away...check the guest artists, too!"
Now there is a big ripple effect; we know CDs went home to Japan, Britain, Australia, Germany, Mexico, all over the US, and with a younger age group than mine.
Also, 'I want to shout out a thanks to Carole Sarkuti who burned cds and isn't mentioned above.
We fans have touched hearts with many this weekend, now LET IT ROLL!
