Greetings Everyone,
If you attended the 2005 Jamaica excursion, you probably remember the incredible fun and the tremendous success of the Little Feat /Sev Hayward TBI benefit raffle! For those of you who are going this year, but were not in attendance last year, you are really in for an awesome treat!
We will hold two totally separate raffles -- one each weekend. The raffles will be held immediately following the final concert of each weekend (Sunday, January 29th and Saturday, February 4th). Tickets will be discarded after the January 29th drawing, thus starting the second raffle.
The two grand prizes this year will be brand new Fender guitars, autographed by Little Feat (and hopefully the guest musicians). Of course, there will be other fabulous prizes! The winners will be responsible for transporting their winning items home from Jamaica.
Thank you in advance for those of you who have already stepped up with items to donate for the cause. Once you arrive at the resort, please contact us.
Tickets will be sold each weekend at the rate of $5 each, or three for $10. Instant Prizes will also be available in limited quantities for you big spenders who purchase multiple tickets.
The tickets will only be sold in Jamaica. However, if you cannot go to Jamaica, and would like to purchase tickets -- NO PROBLEM, MON! You can simply contact one of your Feat Friends who IS going, and trust them to purchase the tickets for you. If you are a winner, your friend will then bring your winning items home to you.
In addition to the Jamaica raffles, we will be unveiling a brand new fundraising project, which will continue throughout 2006. All proceeds from this new project will directly benefit the re-building of New Orleans, through a special fund set up by Habitat for Humanity. For those of you who do not attend the Jamaica excursion, all the details of this new project will be spelled out on the Little Feat website after we return from Jamaica.
We hope to see many of you in attendance at one or both of the official Jamaica Little Feat Grassroots Organization meetings.
Best Regards,
Jim & Darcy Fangman,
Little Feat Grassroots National Directors
