Since I've installed XM Radio, I'm spending ALOT of time just chasing the Feat all over the 100+ channels. CD player is kinda quiet. Gotta get my 9.99 worth don't you know!

I've always enjoyed Chris Rea's work, he's quoted as having been heavily influenced by Lowell George's slide technique, and I think there are similarities in his vocals. His new release, Blue Jukebox is released Monday 22nd and the track list includes Let it Roll. He's touring later this spring and I have tickets to see him in Edinburgh, here's hoping LIR is on the setlist.
Cheers,
Dave.

Well well, isn't the internet a marvellous thing. I just checked a Chris Rea lyrics page, and the aforementioned Let It Roll is NOT a cover of the Feat's classic, just a coincidence in title.
Cheers,
Too quick on the draw Dave

2B3 The Toronto Sessions [ w/ Bill ] I just ordered that from cdbaby.com. Can't wait to hear the whole songs!! (listened to the teasers several times already!) Can't wait to hear it pumping through my home stereo, rather than my computer speakers.

Up date, now playing:
Nick Drake (Way to Blue) An introduction to NICK DRAKE remastered from his 3 Island releases and one unreleased track recorded before he died in 74.
Roy Buchannon 20th Century Masters/ The Millennium Collection, 13 tracks spanning his early 70's recordings. Saw him at a club in Cleveland in the early/mid 80's. Have some pictures or slides of that show somewhere?
Sonny Landreth (The Road We're On) grammy nominated. Saw him 2 weeks ago. Go if he plays near you.

Yeh, Chris. The wheel has turned. Now playing Feat at Tag's, 26th May 2000, courtesy of Joel Widder's bittorrent offering. Susan Tedeschi's " Wait For Me" is unbudgeable. Also got a Jemimah Puddleduck SBD in the car and some Kinks SBD in the IN-TRAY. Btw, I'd back up your choice of Nick Drake. "Five Leaves Left", "Bryter Later", "Pink Moon" - all a great listen. I've also got a live Roy Buchanan, at Ebbet's Field, Sept 74 which I play often. My favourite Telecaster player!

Whew! Lotta good tunes being listed here.
Car-
Talking Heads-Naked Bonnie Raitt-Sweet Forgiveness Chris Isaak-Baja Sessions Flying Burrito Bros-Best Of The Band-Music From Big Pink Jeff Beck-Flash
In the house I've been alternating between some good jazz (Mongo Santamaria, The Quintet [including Bird Parker, Dizzie Gillespie, Max Roach, and Charlie Mingus) and all the Feat I can eat. Just got my Round 12 CDs from the Jamaica gig so that'll tickle my taste buds for awhile.
