I just had to chime in and say thanks to all of you for making my first Feat excursion the most fabulous experience I've ever had. I've been home for three days and I can't wipe this stupid smile off my face! I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with all of you...especially Chris (we laughed, we cried) & Hillary the girls from Leesburg, Charlie & Betsy (we go waaaay back ), Jeff & Mindy, the other Jeff (lighting guy), Laurie & your nice husband who's name has escaped me for the 10th time, Dave & Chip from Deepsouth, Coco, Fred, Kenny, Billy, Paul & Richie. Thanks for making it great, I hope you all will be there next year, I know I will. Lots of love... straight from the heart, Jenny

You know who I mean.
Did you Featsters see this guy at Grand Lido Negril? He had long, long, dark hair. I think he had a beard. He had a bit of the Gary Rossington look. He had a permanent grin on his face. He was in all five bars at once. He had a full cocktail in his hand 24 hours a day. He was in a perpetual state of comfortably numb inebriation. He knew all the guys who wore "watersport" shirts on a first name basis. His eyes were sunset. His cheeks were the sun. He was everywhere I went. He didn't talk much, but he smiled at everyone - or was it everything. I never met him, but he was the Excursion's version of Spicoli from "Fast Times". He may have originated "ya mon". I don't think he was poltergeist. Who was that Mell Low guy?

His name is Mark "Shred" Whelan. He's a guitarist who lives near Tahoe. He won the autographed guitar.

No, no, no. Just this once, Tom is wrong. that guy _was_ Gary Rossington. He's a not-so-secret Feat Fan. And he really can teleport. It saves him a bundle on airfare and he never has to wait. His frustrations are fewer, which helps him to stay in a good mood. So does the knowledge that he could skip out on any (cash) bar bill he wants too. Of course, as a highly evolved ethical being, he doesn't do anything like that except in dire circumstances. But he knows he can, which helps his mood. He'd have told you all this himself, but he's a little shy, so he asked me to fill you in. Is there anything else you need to know? Sincerely yours, Glenn from Seattle

And he really can teleport. It saves him a bundle on airfare and he never has to wait. My teleporter broke down years ago and the spare parts have been on backorder ever since. Anyone know how to expedite this? Maybe we can get Todd on it, I hear he actually got Dennys poster out of Jamaica. Rollin' Mark

Your all wrong about Shred. He is an alien from the planet shred. Hes been here for a while and he poses as my uncle shred. He pops in from time to time to visit except we did manage to teleport to Jamaica for the feat fest and we will be back. Let the legend of shred continue. See you next year. gizmo
