Cheri, Jamaica is a 10 and a half hour flight from London, and that's a pretty crowded flight normally. It's no picnic - particularly homeward bound after Featfest! I think we could make Seattle in about the same time, so if you can persuade the band to do a similar gig there, I would happily come visit. Never got further North than SF on previous visits to the left coast, but sure hanker to see the high side. For my own preferences, re-work &c. - it couldn't be summer, but other than that it would be a gas, and a privilege to meet you and any other Digesters from the farside who might be there. Keeping the Feath, Nog Well Nog ... ya got 12 days to get yer bum over here for the 4-5 shows I mentioned in my previous post! ;D Would certainly be MY pleasure to have a chance to meet YOU as well ... I'm sorry I've become such a wuss about traveling [and I'm not afraid to complain about it either, if ya haven't already noticed ] ... otherwise, I woulda considered a trip to Europe to meet some of the finest FeatFans I've come to know and love over the Internet these past years ... never DID like to fly and now it's getting impossible for me to manage ... guess I'll have to wait 'til the *beam me over* technology is perfected ... 'til then ... Virtual Friends in Feat Forever, cheRi of Seattle

:DI'm new at this - I had no idea that a Feat Fan Excursion even existed! The first thing I thought of when I read the email notice was "Sh.., I missed the first 2!!!"
Is there any fans out there from the Connecticut area going? My wife and I are really looking forward to this trip and partying with some serious Feat fans.

I'm booked for Jamaica too, mon! As for the idea of having a little Colorada-fest, I noticed there are now 3 shows in CO over Labor Day weekend. It's looking very tempting!! And I can use the day in between to visit family. Free festivals, stay with relatives, wonder how much airfare will be, hmmmm.......

(I posted this on the hoyhoy digest a few days ago) So excited about the 3 shows in CO! Everyone who can make it out here for those shows should definitely do so, because CO is beautiful in summer and there are SO many things to do (while working off your hangover and getting ready for the shows at night ). I work at a B&B (www.huntplacerinn.com) in Breckenridge, so I sort of have to know what the best things to do/places to stay in the area are. Please email me or post questions or whatever if you are thinking about making a vacation out of it... I would be very happy to help with anything and everything! Yes, Swank, quite a few Connecticutt folks typically come to the Jamaica excursion, and many from up that way.
