Hoy folks....
Heres another reminder about the Richmond and Danville, Va shows.
Richmond (Wed 9/29) - Innsbrook Pavilion, Innsbrook Afterhours:
www.innsbrookafterhours.com
Tix are $10 in advance and I think at the gate also. Advance tix buyers allowed to enter @5:55pm, gates open at 6pm. Directions are available on the website. Here is a link to area hotel directory: All tix are general admission but I think the venue is providing limited # of chairs for first come first served usage.

Danville(Fri Oct 1) - Rockin' at the River (Dan River)
www.rockinattheriver.com
Tix are $12.50 general admission and $22.50 reserved, with some decent seats left (you pick your seats when purchasing off the website). The Carrington Pavilion has 1,2000 reserved seats. As before, directions are provided on the website. Both the Innsbrook and Danville concert series are promoted by the same guy. If you catch the Danville show, I recommend you try the unique flavor of Short Sugars BBQ just across the river on US Rt. 58...Sweet tomato based sauce....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! From what I can tell the venue is located near the river but also pretty close to the downtown area of town. Here is a accomodation directory link for Danville:

I'm going to POC these shows, so gimme a holler or a head's up if you are coming. the other Featfans and myself will certainly be glad to see you. For convenience sake, we'll probably gather at or near the merch area, as I sort-of anticipate being busy.
***NOTE! If anyone in the Richmond or Danville areas would like to help out in a big way by hanging Tour 2004 posters (music stores, book/music stores, coffee houses, etc) please contact me and I'll see that posters come your way (e-mail: mistahgene1@earthlink.net)
ALS Association Update:
Last week I dropped in on the local ALS Chapter office in Raleigh. the nice folks there signed me up for the walk to be held on Sat Oct 16. they now are setting up webpages for each participating walking team so that pledges can be made online. Watch out, if you are on my e-mail list you might get a form letter from me in the near future <g>. Anyone wishing to participate on my Featfans team please let me know (even though I realioze there not a lot of people on this list around here).
More to come if I hear any new news. Take care for now!
Gene
