BALTIMORE- The best party of the summer just got better! Join Baltimore magazine on August 19th from 6 to 11 pm to celebrate the annual Best of Baltimore party. The event is held at Power Plant Live! and Port Discovery. The highlight of the evening will be the live performance by internationally known, classic rock band, Little Feat.
From crab cakes to cocktails, partygoers will sample house favorites from more than 50 Baltimore area restaurants. Frozen margaritas, rum drinks, beer and wine are only a few of the choices guests will have to keep cool while dancing and mingling among Baltimore’s best.
Guests can take the Ultimate Baltimore Quiz for prizes, put their faces on the cover of Baltimore magazine and purchase a raffle to win airfare for two to Iceland. Again this year, ticket buyers who don’t already subscribe to the magazine will get a six-month subscription.
A record breaking crowd of approximately 3,000 people are expected to attend the event.
Tickets are $75 in advance, $90 (cash only) at the door and are available at Baltimore magazine by calling 410-752-4200, online at www.baltimoremagazine.net or at any Record and Tape Traders location. A portion of the proceeds benefit the child abuse prevention organization, The Family Tree.
This event is for individuals ages 21 and older. ID will be required for entrance. For any questions call 410-752-4200.
