What a gig. A packed Newport Live City Arena saw feat make their first visit to Wales since they supported the Who at a soccer stadium in Swansea in 1976!!!!!
How were they? Brilliant. The music was as good as it gets. The highlights were too numerous to mention!!!!
Older and newer material blended seamlessly. At the end of the gig Sam Clayton gave an autographed set list to a disabled fan in a wheelchair. What a guy! What a band!
After the gig my 14 buddies and I went looking for our minibus. To our amazement, our driver and friend who did not go to the gig as he's a Frankie Laine and Gene Pitney fan and hates this upstart rock and roll nonsense, had unintentionally parked the van behiond the tourbus!!
We met Paul and Fred. They were great.
What a night!! come back soon guys and girls.
Love Welshboy

The Newport show was really special. The welsh crowd were amazing,so enthusiastic and energetic, I think they definatley raised the spirits of the band who wre pretty knackered after long bus drives and ferry crossings and having to wait around a lot at soundcheck,(not that you`d ever know). The performance was wonderful, the set was completely varied,Billys Mosquito Wars/Gringo/corazones y sombras in Dixie chicken was probably one of the most beautiful things i`ve ever heard, and Sam and Shauns duet,Pretty good love was spellbinding. Also Red Streamliner went down really well with the crowd, shouts of "Play Red Streamliner again" could be heard. All in all, a glorious night was had by all. PS; I like ya shirts guys!! Cheers all, Emma.
