i'm planning on rolling down for the festival, but don't know of any overnight parking....unless you check into the hotels nearby (and they can be pretty expensive in the summer-check hotels.com for any deals)
the bayou boogaloo is a great festival and the price is right. maybe the weather will cooperate this year. i've seen feat there three times. and had either great weather, or lots of rain. should be bringing katie & my kids, but we'll see how we're doing that weekend, could be solo bob. there's always a good crowd of featfans here, and denny always needs good help at the merch table. let's make it happen!
cheers, bfb

Thanks Bob! We are looking forward to the festival! Is there enough going on to plan the whole weekend or is one day enough to take it all in? Do you suggest buying tickets ahead? Coming in from Wisconsin so don't know much about how this happens ..... JohnB and Wendy Lou

Wendy & fellow Feat travellers - there is no need to buy tickets for bayou boogaloo in advance. your $5 at the gate will allow you to dance right in and enjoy the food, music & shopping. Behind the stage is the Elizabeth River, where you will see sailboats & other watercrafts. Lots to do all 3 dayz of the festival, but you're also only 20 minutes from the beach @ Virginia Beach. I will post the website for the event in about 10 minutes....gotta go look it up again. check back here around June 20 for meeting up with fellow featfans. Feat fans can be found at the merch table, which does very good business at this show.
cheers, backflip bob

Here's the link to the Event website. festeventsva.org/festevents/bayou_cajun.htmLittle Feat scheduled to hit the stage at 4:30 on Sunday. They will stop at 6pm and it has been my experience that this event sticks to the posted times pretty well. In the past, the band has done a post show meet & greet near the merchandise area. It depends on their schedule and this time they leave the next day for Italy, so that may not happen. Arrive early to catch New Birth Brass Band at 1pm, and the Iguanas at 3pm! See you at the crawfish booth! bfb
