Hey- I'm new to the board, but an avid follower of the band whenever they are near. And Toads Place is a great old bar/venue just up the road.
Anyone here planning on attending the June 25th show?

Ok. So where's the pre-show meet? Where's the best place to park after 8 pm? Where's all the info?
;D

Doors at 8:00. Opening Act "Rizzz" at 9:00. Feat at 10:15 or so. Rizzz opened for Feat last year at Lupo's in Providence. Good band as I remember, been around New England for quite some time. I know Hank can give you more details on this band. I'll be in New Haven on Wednesday, so I will scout out a good Meet n' Greet spot and let you all know.

Merritt Parkway vs 95 during summer rush hour to Toad's. Any opinions? I really hate 95 but not sure if I can avoid it in CT.

Depends on what time you're heading up.
Toads is a little easier from I95, and I 95 is more direct thru the state as well.
If you're going later, (after 7 or so) you should be OK on either.
Earlier, (2PM -6:30 or so) both suck, and it's a crapshoot.
No matter what, construction on 95 will slow you in Bridgeport, and the Sikorsky Bridge in Stratford will do the same on the Merrit.
Of course, in the event of weather or accidents all bets are off. Still, New Haven is about 60 miles give or take from NYC, so its not all that far.

Hmm...leaving the city around 7? That's a good idea. Since the opening act isn't on till 9 or so there's no need to put up with traffic. Or at least a whole lot of traffic.
