The Rialto show in Tucson has been cancelled. I've received official confirmation from the band and the venue. I guess I will have to wait for another year to see the Feats on my birthday in my own backyard. ( well , maybe not my backyard, but at least in the same state as me) bummed out birthday boy, Mike Tobin

I'd like to know more about this. Tucson always draws a pretty good crowd for Little Feat. Their last show at the Rialto was one of the very best I've seen. If Clear Channel is going to promote concerts they should hang in there and not cancel due to poor advance ticket sales. I understand they have the money. I almost NEVER buy in advance because I'd rather pay more at the door than hand Ticket*astar* the money.

I guess I will have to grill the band Saturday and find out what truely happened. I don't know if the band plans to head straight to Texas now or head back to California. This whole situation stinks, one newspaper reports the show as a sellout, then I hear that ticket sales were real slow. And why did they cancel 3 days prior to the commitment. :'(I am sure they would have have a good sized crowd, and much bigger than they had in New Mexico last October. Arizona deserves answers

Arizona deserves answers ... and the answer I got today was non-existant promotion and nearly non-existant advance ticket sales. hey, as much as we all love the communal music concept, this is[/i] a business too ...
