bt.etree.org/details.php?id=10090That's a link to a torrent currnetly running for the entire event that occured yesterday in Asheville, NC. The show ran from 7pm to 4am w/45min between sets. (Oh, my aching feet!) and the file set is 2.2 gig. Be patient and leave your torrent run after download is complete... on Tuesday! From what little I've read on another board so far, The Feat were well recieved by what I expect was a youngish (18-40) aud.... I could be wrong on that point. Here's the Feat set list from the show: Little Feat----------------------------------------------- 01. Fat Man in the Bathtub > Get Up Stand Up 02. It Takes A Lot To Laugh It Takes A Train To Cry* 03. Dark Star Jam > Dixie Chicken** 04. Spanish Moon*** * w/ Charlie Musselwhite ** w/ Fred Tackett, Ron Holloway, Ivan Neville, Warren ** w/ Ron Holloway and Warren on Vocals

bt.etree.org/details.php?id=10090That's a link to a torrent currnetly running for the entire event that occured yesterday in Asheville, NC. I'm not sure how big it is but the show ran from 7pm to 4am w/45min between sets. (Oh, my aching feet!) From what little I've read on another board so far, The Feat were well recieved by what I expect was a youngish (18-40) aud.... I could be wrong on that point. Spanish Moon*** * w/ Charlie Musselwhite ** w/ Fred Tackett, Ron Holloway, Ivan Neville, Warren ** w/ Ron Holloway and Warren on Vocals Yeah you right! Aching Feat? I could barely walk back to the truck afterwards. Doug, Gene, Joe Bowers, and I did what we could to represent. Warren and Ed Mcain opened, Galactic Tore it up! W/Ron & Warren, Jorma (never played a funkier set imho), Accoustic everybody - S'aright, Living Color had, uhh, personality, Nevilles were a ball of confusion clearly missing Rocky ;D Papa got Funk, just no monitors. Gov't Mule opened with Soulshine and shine they did, BUT LITTLE FEAT STOLE THE MFing SHOW. 4 songs, scratched willin', the kids went nutz! They even ate Gringo (awfully intellectual for da kids) up with a big Ol' spoon. Ron corraberated to me this morning at the airport: "The audience response for LF was incredible!" Col Bruce, Mr Kinny, Charlie MFing Musselwhite, the kid from wide spread ;D and Nick's Mom. Warren Haynes ain't a gracious host, he's a gracious human being. He thanked me for coming, uhh huh. Now I gotta crawl under a rock and giggle myself to sleep.

So you were there? Nice work. A couple of posts on my taper's forum indicated that they liked the Feat set the most. You confirm that. Thanks. Most all the posts I've read also said that the sound system/mix was pretty bad. That's just wrong if it's true. Why through a big party and then scrimp on the meat, or worse yet... serve SPAM?

Gotta hand it to G'Mule fans. They are very active on the postings. More commentary from those folks who were at the Xmas Jam can be found in the Emule list serve archives... enjoy. lists.netspace.org/archives/emule.html
