If you are having trouble connecting to my server (hoyhoy.dyndns.org) to download LF shows - tell me as specifically as you can what trouble you are having - what kind of error messages, etc - and I will see what I can do. The server has been up and running with anywhere from 1 to 4 or 5 people connected virtually day and night - except about 10 days ago for a week - when a glitch developed - but now its fixed and up and running. So if you are now having trouble connecting - try and tell what is happening at your end and I will try and help out. Also - just about all the shows I have to offer are also available from the Internet Archive site at : www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Little%20Feat

Yesterday, I had to change the login and password to the hoyhoy server -- hoyhoy.dyndns.org -- If you would like to download from the server, please email along with your name and IP address (which you can get by going to www.whatismyip.com/), and I will furnish you the new login and password.

No problem at all whether FLAC, SHN. Never had problems logging on to HoyHoy either.
One thing, joel. Please, please can you or someone have Howard move the guitars (particularly the slide) up in the mix off the board? I just downloaded, unzipped and deshn'd the two BB King shows and Pauls' slide is almost lost in "Rocket" (a particular fave) and I find this an ongoing theme. As much as I love the rest of the band, the Feats always were, (and for me always will be) about the slide.
Thanks in advance, and thanks as always for your ongoing crusade and hard work to make the Feats available to us

Hank hit the nail on the head. I've heard SBD recordings where the bass was put directly through the PA and not through the soundboard. On the recording there is no bass, but at the show the bass sounded great. This is why I think that a good quality AUD recording is better than a SBD recording. Of course, that isn't always an easy thing to do. My 2 cents. Rollin' Mark

If anyone needs a hand getting bit torrent running on their computer, just drop me an email. I have helped quite a few folks. Some even successfully If you have a dial up connection, and don't have to pay by the minute for the connection, consider running bit torrent over night. It may take a night or two, but if you don't have any additional charges (i.e. just a flat fee for the phone and a flat fee for the internet) you can do it and you may as well get your money's worth for both the internet connection and your phone service. Give it some thought and give me a shout if you need a hand. There is some great "how to" stuff at wiki.etree.org

I've had no problem downloading any of the file types. I use BitTorrent and SmartFTP for downloads. I'm on a dialup (hey it's free so I'll stick with it rather than pay the big bucks for cable) it takes longer but works just fine. Yes and I was even sucessfully helped by FeatFan Mike...
