Something I don't live by but should:
Never pass up an oportunity to keep your mouth shut. (annon)
For me, working over time towards a deadline... is like washing windows when I know there are pigeons on the roof... (me, with a nod to JB of Widespread Panic)

"Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded" Casey Stengal
"My constituancy. The haves and the have mores." Jr seen in F 9/11 (too true). My favorite though is "silence" when asked in the debates if he had made any mistakes as president.
for Rollin Mark the next line "I don't know if it's worth $5 though." Vincent Vega in "PulP Fiction"

Yesterday a coworker of mine uttered the following {it sounded very Yogi Berra-ish}
Frustration can be very frustrating. ;D
Here, though, is a quote from Mary Shelley that has been speaking to me lately - Nothing contributes so much to tranquilize the mind as a steady purpose... a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. - Hunter S. Thompson

"Let Saigons be bygones!" (Govenor) Kinky Friedman
The wife and I went out to "Carl's Corner", south of DFW yesterday for the Grand Opening of "Willie's Corner and Music Hall" where Willie was playing. We got to talk to Kinky about Texas politics, and Willie about BioDeisel. Those two hook up today with Bob Dylan at "Willies 4th of July Picnic" at Fort Worth's Billy Bob's to begin..."the change"

A guy explaining to his boss, a comment that he made about his boss's wife that the boss had overheard -
"When I said that woman wears more makeup than a mime, I meant she exudes a quiet dignity that words simply cannot express." - from a television commerical ;D
