Mike - I know I should be familiar with that title, but can't come up with it. Who's in that film? BTW - I missed a perfectly good football game last Sunday night... okay, for anybody who has an interest in the NFC North that is - watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith instead of the Packers and the Lions. Doh

Chad, "Crash" stars Sandra Bullock, Matt Dillon, Brendan Frazier, Ludacris, and a whole slew of others. It's one of those films that has a lot of quick cameo appearances. I thought it was great and highly recommend it, with parental discretion (frankly, when my boys entered mid junior high school, I went ahead and let em see and hear what the real world was like...but that's just me).
"Crash" will test your convictions to racism and hatred. Sometimes those traits are harder to hold onto than you think. It's along the same lines as "Grand Canyon", another great one.

With my wife in Seattle for a few daze, the dog and I are on our own. I got up this morning and searched for anything that would help me procrastinate doing my "farm duties". So I looked around and pulled out my wife's copy of one of her favorite movies.
The movie "Pay it Forward" is about that same old tired subject of vintage courage and leadership. This time from a 12 year old kid. If you haven't seen it, you should give it a try. If it doesn't kick start your heart and make you ponder about 'what if"...you need help.
(WARNING: Have hanky handy)

Pay It Forward is a very good film. I think Haley Joel Osment is just an amazing talent for his age (equally amazing, if not more so, is Dakota Fanning). Another really good film of Osment's is Second Hand Lions, with the aforementioned Osment, and Robert Duvall and Michael Caine. Check it out if you feel so inclined. I saw Munich last night, and I thought the film did a good job showing the building stress levels that Bana's character, and his team, feels as their mission progresses. I'm curious as to why Brian Cox is not credited in this film. He had a signifcant role, but I do not see him credited at the IMDB website as having been a cast member. Any thoughts anyone? -
