Ok so the coolest band in the world asked us to help suggest songs in their rotation. Id like to hear what everyone suggested. mine were... LF song: Texas Rose Cafe Non-LF song: Sneakin' Sally through the Alley in comments I suggested they might want to temproarily retire the Dixie Chicken finale (I affectionately call it the Chicken Sandwich) as well as Fatman in the Bathtub> Get Up Stand Up> etc etc. (I call it the Fatman Sandwich). These are great jams, but I personally had my fill of them in 03. hope I didnt make any enemies. k

Since the Feat have not played the North Coast of Ohio for a few yrs I would take double helping of Chicken and Fatman sandwhiches. But I understand what you mean, They can play different tunes every night for a week and never play the same one twice and no one would complain!
My pick is Teenage Warriors. Never heard it except on a radio broadcast I taped from the Fox theater St. Louis, May 22, 1990. Did the Feat ever play it live any other time ever?

Feat Song - "Business As Usual"
Non-Feat - work "Blue Rondo a la Turk" or "Take Five" (Dave Brubeck) into one of the jams
I have mixed feelings abount dropping "Chicken" and "Fatman." They sure are crowd pleasers and get folks jumping.....and if you only get to one show a year, it's great to hear how they've dressed 'em up.

I think that Eldorado Slim might be able to "dress up" quite nicely these days. (Probably no shot at Red Streamliner....)
I want Richie to bring Hwy 61 Rev. back w/the Feat after he gets off tour w/Bob.
Soul-ution to not hearing TDCS or FMITBT in future... Get some fans to burn a handfull of their fave versions (or as the band directs) for each show and hand them out to anyone who looks broken hearted.
Sneakin Sally is an all time favorite as well, and with the recent passing of R.P. any number of his tunes would serve as a fine memorial.

I saw them play it at Dallas Auditorium in '89. It was the one I went there hoping they would play. It does move and groove. Good pick!

Well for LF Song I picked High Roller, always been one of my favorites.
Non LF Song I picked Iko Iko by Dr. John, I think the FEAT could do justice to that New Orleans beat they are known for.

From deep in the vault I asked the Mag 7 to play: "Somebody's Leaving" or "Keepin' Up with the Jones'" saw that one at my first show.... guess I cheated by asking for two :>)

Feat Song: Spider's Blues (might need it some time)
Non-Feat: Simon and Garfunkel's Cecilia (even though it's mostly harmonies and percussion, I think Feat could do one heck of an arrangement!)
