Eh all!!!
It's great to see everyone gettin' behind the band's future performances! Looking over this year's tour schedule, it's going to be impossible for this Canadian Fan to make any nearby shows......How did things go in Hamilton in June? I'm hopin' it was cool and fun, and that '05 will perhaps include a couple more Canadian dates. This weekend will be a sad one......with Little Feat in nearby Verona NY, and me giggin' in a Kingston ON club.......maybe you could turn it up to 11 so we may be able to hear it on our side of Lake Ontario??!!! ;D Don't forget about your northern neighbors ....PLEEEEZE!!!!

I'm hearing you loud and clear bouytoy... I went to the Hamilton gig...travelled 500 miles just to make the show, and guess what? ....IT WAS WORTH EV-ER-Y MILE!!!!! I've been listening to the Feat's for over 25 years -never been-and nothing is better than live - Shaun was AMMMMAAAAZZZZZING!!!! - got to meet Bill. It would be great if the band could play a Canadaian Blues Festival - say Ottawa - or the one in my neck of the woods...say, maybe... the Porquis Blues Festival?....apparently the longest running blues festival in Canada at 7 years. This event has featured artists such as Dutch Mason, Jack De Keysey, Rita Chiarelli, Fat Head and on and on.... Anyways, I'd gladly travel, but hey, when you live in the north, you'd better be willing to take to the road if you want to see anything....and all the Feat's have to do is tell me when and where, I've been spreading the word and have a lot of folk very curious....here's hoping. See ya, Laura

Hey Laura! Thanks for the support.....Kingston has a big blues festival every year too, and none other than Mr. Dan Akroyd is always in attendance to kick it off. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Little Feat did play the Ottawa blues fest a couple years ago......maybe even last year. BTW, where and when is this Porquis blues fest? It must have been incredible to meet Bill, and to hear them live!!! I've got the High Wire Act DVD, and it certainly is a completely different experience even watching them on the screen, as compared to listening to a record! If I'm feeling low before a gig, or if I'm spent, I throw it in, refuel, and always end up playing above myself!!! No other band has ever done that for me the way these cats do!!! Hopefully they check these posts out and explore the possibility of more dates in Canada next year. Cheers!! Derrick

Hi again....I'm afraid I've been sooooo out of touch with the "when and where" of Feat gigs, (what with that damned working for a living and raising kids) that until I heard about the Hamilton thing, I don't think I ever expected to hear them live.....just good timing really. Bill - by the way - introduces himself as "Billy"....how down-homey is that!! The Porquis Blues Festival is in Porquis Junction of course!!!....oh....you don't know where that is??? ....well, it is the tiniest of burg's about 20 miles south-east of Timmins - or - 250 miles north of North Bay or Sudbury...Did I mention that I live in the north??? It's always a great time...people show up and camp out at the free camping areas around the festival area on Friday night - show starts about 1-ish on Saturday with a line up of 8 to 10 performers and usually a big jam after midnight. The artistic line-up is pretty impressive and although it includes a few northern regulars - they seem to improve every year. The weather has always co-operated, but even if it rains, the stage and main seating area are covered and the floor is solid....no wet feet here ...you should be able to google the fest....all for $20 in advance or $25 at the gate...and always, the first Saturday after the first full week in July. See ya, Laura

Hoys fellow Canucks! I must just be lucky - I made the Hamilton gig and Verona, NY. Both were great! ;D;DGot to camp and golf for the Verona weekend and the wife even won a few bucks at the casino! Feats & Fun - doesn't get much better than that! Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the T.O. show through Ticketmaster. Several shows before and after have been cancelled (including Ottawa) but this one appears to be presented by Q107 Toronto and they're already putting Feat tickets up in their prize packs. So I assume it'll be a go! And so will I! Has anybody ever been to the Phoenix? What kind of venue is it? Hope the sound is good.

Featmeister: No, I've never been to The Pheonix, but it'll be great I'm sure!!! I'm gonna order my tix today........hope to see you there! I'm also gonna call some friends in Canada's "Big Smoke" city and see what I can find out about the venue. The last show I went to see there was at The Opera House, and Government Mule was on the bill!!! I dare say it was the best live show I've ever witnessed, and I'm looking forward to changing that statement come early November!!! Derrick

Howdy fellow Canadian Feat Fans, Did y'all know that there was an Ottawa date that had been scheduled but has now been cancelled according to the Tour Dates section on the official Feat site. Bummer I live down in the Maritimes so I'll be thinking about the two shows back to back in Maine. They're a lot closer than Ottawa and T.O. I saw Little Feat at the Ottawa Bluesfest in 1997 and it was a great show ;D. I believe they also played the Ottawa Bluesfest more recently(7/15/2001) which I did not get to but it is always great to see those Canadian dates and for me any dates in Maine. It would be really wild to see Little Feat as the headliners of our own annual, rapidly growing, Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, NB ;D!!! A man can dream, can't he? www.harvestjazzblues.nb.ca/Whereever they play, they always tear the roof off the sucka!!! Enjoy 'em all, evrabody!!!!

Hope to see you all there, the more we get to the show, the more shows we'll get...........(is that how that works?) Bottom's UP!!!! B.T.W. I've heard The Pheonix is a great sounding room as long as it's packed............there's a hidden message in here somewhere......but I'm not tellin' Okay.....I'll give in.......LET'S BRING THE HOUSE DOWN! Would this be in Podunk, Texas when you kicked said keyboardist out of the front seat?

Would this be in Podunk, Texas when you kicked said keyboardist out of the front seat? now now, I didn't kick Billy out of his seat ... I stuck my head in and he said "c'mere, sit down and listen" and he got out ... wasn't my fault ... plus, I don't have to do that any more 'cause I got my own copy, so ptthhhbbbbttt

Hey (isn't just for horses anymore!): I dare everyone who's going to make the Toronto or Ottawa show to post a little tidbit...that is...if we want more Little Feat in Canada for 2005! I bet we could make a case for an excursion up here for '06 if we put our minds to it! Why go for the beach in Jamaica when you can come up here in January and race snowmachines, and fish through the ice?!!!!! It isn't as painful as it sounds! Woolen socks protects the feats! Cheers, and let's pelt the board with Canadian posts, pleeze! DC
