Based on up to date correspondence from Amanda at Cruisin, the two weekenders (full package) apparently have this show and transport included in their cost. All others will need to pay to attend @ $30 each. That's not out of line, I'd say, since this event is off site at a nearby commercial establishment. Vicky and I are up for that one!

Thanks for undertaking to bring us a "second wind" Mac. Lil and I (Henry) are scheduled to arrive on Jan 26 at 3:05 pm and stay until Feb 6. Looking forward to sharing some Canuck craziness with your Tennessee twistedness.

Have we been asked to sign up for midweek golf yet? If so I seem to have missed the call. Secondly, is the Magueritaville venue in Mobay or Negril? Apologies if this has previously been answered , I missed that too!

Deep South tells me they will be sending out email updates and the package documents soon, which should clear that up. As far as I can tell without a clear answer, the Margaritaville show takes place at the Negril location. We'll hear that soon too I'm sure.

Amanda at the travel agency told me that the mid-week show would be at the Negril Margaritaville. I also asked her if Jimmy Buffet would be there and she said that she couldn't confirm it, but that it was very possible!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEhaw...........can we get anymore excited with anticipation than this!!!! ;D PS - Please excuse this humble 2nd weekender from indulging on the Entire Enchilda thread!!

Trish and I are there for the full course. We're in on 1/26 and leaving on 2/6 - sticking around for the other Big Show on 2/5.
We are bringing an old friend with us, Mark, who is an awesome guitar player. Any idea where the fan-jams are?
Looking forward to seeing all y'all. Party on, Garth!

Here's the official word:
Margaritaville Concert!
On Wednesday, February 1st Little Feat will be doing a rare performance on the beach at Margaritaville in Negril. If you are staying at Grand Lido for the entire 9 Days your special 9 day laminate and wristband (which you will get upon check in) will get you into the VIP section for this performance. General Admission tickets will be available the night of the show for $30. VIP tickets for $50 a person can only be purchased in advance by e-mailing or calling Amanda at Cruisin (they will be available for pick up in Jamaica). The VIP ticket also gets you a ride on the Margaritaville bus to and from the resort and is the area directly in front of the stage. The General Admission tickets are responsible for their own way to/from and these are not preferred seating.

In answer to Gary's question, last year a spontaneous jam developed on someone's pation next to the "clothing optional" pool and bar. I also met some other musicians and jammers throughout the weekend, and almost everyone is ready to sing along if someone gets it started. I'm hoping there will be a little stage area with PA set up for this purpose - last year there was buzz that this would be the case. Anyway, I'm bringing a guitar. My name is David Sippel. I'll look for Mark there.
