Not having a changer in my car -- one of the advantages of living in Halifax is that it takes very little time to drive anywhere -- I have to manually insert discs, and to get variety I tend to make my own compilations -- tracks from the most recent disc include:
Here I Am -- Emmylou Harris Chains of Love -- Los Lobos (in a sane world this would be a monster hit) Senor Blues -- Taj Mahal (I've also been listening to Horace Silver's two original versions, one with vocals and one without) The One in the Middle -- Robert Cray Your Good Thing's Coming to an End -- Boz Scaggs Ain't Nothing but the Blues -- Kenny Garret Night on the Town -- Little Feat (from Kickin' It) Cure for Love -- Bonnie Raitt Maybe -- Sons of Champlin Let Me Be The One -- The Flecktones
I've also been listening to a lot of Ray Charles, and he leads naturally to Aretha, and she leads me to Booker T and then Albert King .... it's endless.

Hiya Mike, I know ya ain't Todd That was just to draw him out of the woodwork on the DC area battle of "who's better at pickin' the telecaster. Gatton was a resident of the DC area and so was Roy.. Both shredded in their own respects. I just know that the Tipi tips in one direction ;-) Rick

I'll jump in.
I thought Albert Collins (the Iceman) was the master of the telecaster...
He's from Texas......not DC.
